Our Story
Transcat Biomedical, formerly Spectrum Technologies, was founded in 1986 and headquartered in Paxinos, PA. Our primary focus is to provide quality calibration services to the biomedical engineering and clinical engineering departments in hospitals and medical centers nationwide. Additionally, we provide commercial calibrations serving the industrial marketplace including industrial, chemical, and electrical/electronic manufacturers. We pride ourselves on not only providing quality calibration, but quality customer service as well.
In early 2016, we became part of Transcat, a national leader of accredited calibration services and test equipment sales and rentals. In joining Transcat, we are able to offer even more products and services to our loyal customers. All Spectrum employees are excited to be part of the Transcat family.
